Frozen Pizza: Our New Dinner Favorite

Frozen Pizza is a great busines to be in these days.  “It’s been one of the few consistently growing categories in the grocery store”, according to Burt Flickinger III, managing director of strategic Resource Group.  Plus it helps that there is a new generation that doesn’t really like to cook or can’t, and so frozen pizza fits well in their lifestyle. 

This has contributed to sales from the freezer-aisle growing faster than the overall food market.  Americans bought $4.4 billion worth of frozen pizza last year, up from $3.1 billion in 2000, according to market research firm Datamonitor Inc.
